Horizontal and vertical structures intertwine in a subtle way. They penetrate each other like a tissue. In the lower third of the drawing, there seems to be a reason to spread a floor. Dense bundles rise above this. Some are only connected to it with some stilt-like components. Light and dark lines hover around them at different heights.

German artist Karen Rosski, born in 1965, works with two-dimensional media such as painting and drawing, as well as in the medium of object art. She completed first a training as a text and graphic painter (1983-1985), then a degree course at the College of Art and Design Halle in painting/graphics (1990-1995) and she was a master student under Prof. Inge Götze (1995-1997). She lives and works in Dresden.
