Larvikite is a monzonitic Feldspar rock, containing Albite, Ortholclase and Anorthite, plus secondary Anorthoclase, Perthite, Plagioclase and Nepheline Syenite. Feldspars are a group of minerals that have similar structures and are complex in groupings and mineral composition. Larvikite is dark grey, dark blue to black, with Quartz or Nepheline inclusions. Larvikite displays distinctive bluish Schiller characteristic.
