TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 13th year teaching high school English. I am currently teaching 10th and 11th grade English, but I have taught 9th-12th throughout my teaching career.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to bring a creative, unique approach to teaching English Language Arts. I try to inspire my students to genuinely have a love of reading while exposing them to classic works of literature.

I graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with a BA in English and minors in Education and History. Currently, I am certified in English 6-12 and Exceptional Student Education. In addition, I have my ESOL endorsement as well.

I met my husband, who is also a teacher, when we were at the University of Florida. We will be married thirteen years in July. We have two wonderful children. We also have a Chihuahua named Cocoa and a Min Pin named Lady Raider.
