Glacially slow about paying
Although I have enjoyed being a mystery shopper, Bestmark isn't the company to do it with. I completed my last shop on 8/29/22. I paid $318 out of pocket. Reimbursement for the shop was only $300, which I was aware of. I have been waiting patiently to receive my money back and the payment date keeps getting pushed back. First it was 10/20/22, then 11/20/22 and lastly 12/20/22. I have been emailing relentlessly and was sent an email (finally) that the payment has been processed but I have yet to get the money in my account. According to their policies and guidelines, shoppers should be paid 4 to 6 weeks after completion of a shop. I have NEVER been paid on time. They are extremely difficult to get in touch with. I have rarely gotten an email back whether or not it is about pay or a question or problem about a shop but you better believe if you don't respond back to them quickly, they will cancel your job and/or not pay even if the job is done. If I could give no stars, I would.
