One of the best hotel-reefs

One of the best hotel-reefs, best snorkeling in Egypt. Same applies for swimming. The rooms are comfortable and most of them with some seawiev. The restaurant is fresh renovated and good in accordance to Egyptian standards. There are pools for kids. Separate restaurants where they offer Burgers and the other Egyptian. Animation team - good fireshow. There is a friendly, good equipped diveshop with excursions also for snorkelers.

Fake luxury travel and scamming travel activities

What was supposed to be a luxury trip was ruined by the disastrous organization of the excursions and other travel activity "included" in our package.
We waste our days waiting for excursion (service was never provided) doing poor activities (much different from the one advertised by sonnenklar) or discussing\complaining with the local reference (that never provide solutions or support).
What is even worse is that sonnenklar never provide a feedback to our complain!!!
A scam... waiting for refund

Absolutely incompetent and unfriendly…

Absolutely incompetent and unfriendly customer service. Booking the holiday wasn’t a problem, but when they then just changed the flight times to almost 12 hours earlier and ruined my parents birthday, they were absolutely unwilling and righteous and would not assist in satisfying me as a customer. First and last chance given to this business. Rude and unhelpful Ms. Rudolf, wouldn’t even let me finish my sentence, felt like I was school, when all I wanted was a solution that wouldn’t make my partners birthday just about traveling all day...
They cut our holiday by almost an entire day short and didn’t even apologize, just insisted on their right, never Sonnenklar TV again!!!

Not to be trusted!!! Book at your own risk.

My partner and I found this great Cruise & Fly offer with Sonnenklar.tv at a very good price and decided to go ahead and request a quote. While awaiting feedback from Sonnenklar.tv with the quote, my partner and I went directly on the website of the cruise itself to verify cabin availability. Cabin still available, so all ok. My partner also called Sonnenklar.tv to confirm that the flights are really included in the package. They confirmed it is included, so all ok. At this point, we were happy to just wait for the quote. Today the quote came in and the amount was presented as "Gesamtpreis pro Person". What?!? Confused, my partner called them and asked them to clarify this. They told him it was in fact an error in the system and that the flights were not included and the cheaper cabins are fully booked. That's why our quote literally doubled. This is the most ridiculous excuse I ever heard from a travel agency that claims to be respectable. Typos and mistakes in their emails and attached documents, misleading offers, conflicting information given by their customer service and lack of transparency. Do not put your euros in their pockets and your trust in their hands. Put your hard earned money to good use and book with trusted agencies (Neckermann, Thomas Cook, TUI etc.) even if it may cost a little bit more. My partner and I are literally done with these crooks.

One of my worst experiences yet

One of my worst experiences yet.
After a Nile cruise we came to ''Albatross citadel'' for beach holidays. At approx. 21.00 I have had a stroke. The hotel's physician was summoned, and he ordered an ambulance and immediate transport at the specific (so called) Nile Hospital out of the approx eight hospitals in the area.
The hotel's doctor ordered to the paramedic that oxygen has to administer to me.There was none. After a 15 min bumping ride we were at the (so called) hospital.
Upon my arrival I have had an MRT and was ushered in a stinking, dirty and without any daylight room called ''intensive room''.The bed covers where (of course) paper. And then came a German Lady, employee of the (supposedly) hospital, liaison between patient and the establishment.
In the spirit of the German/Egyptian friendship she started chanting.'' Egyptian Doctors are top'' she said.'' Equipment at the hospital is up to date'' she said. ''bill will go up to €6.000'' she said.''I have to be insured'' she said.'' Air/med/evac will take up to two weeks until they found an airplane'' she said.'' Fit to flight'' permit will be given after several weeks, she said.
Next day, every couple of hours a Doctor will visit me to inform me that I have to stay a week, ten days, two weeks.... When I've said that there was no insurance they start talking about paying a sum of money on the spot and sign in, a huge credit to pay when I was home.I still remember a pompous curly haired Doctor who have said to me that I was free to sign and leave the (so called) hospital, but he won't give me the ''fit to flight'' permit unless I was stayed several days (Doc if you reed this take your permit and shove it). That concluded the medical treatment that I have received on site. I presumed the Doctors where no medical Doctors but Doctors in business administration.
An inside information (cost $2) told me that the plan was for me to stay in this dark hole for at least two weeks until I become a ''fit to flight'' permit.
I couldn't move, in a foreign land and I have to pay a huge amount of money and wait for two weeks in order to return to Germany.
And then came to me that I have a gold visa! That means I am insured also for air/med/evac. I couldn't speak clearly because of the stroke, my wife doesn't speak German that well, so I asked the German Lady to call insurance and explain the situation. In the spirit of the German/German friendship (yes I'm a German citizen as well)she answered ''this is not my business''. Immediately a have informed my son-in-law, who then have called insurance. They have asked what hospital, they have said that it was their responsibility now, and they have called the (supposedly)hospital. And nobody answered. And they have called again. And nobody came to the phone. And they have called repeatedly up to 19.00. No one answered. And then I became a message:Leave the hospital at once, in case of trouble the German consul is already informed, liaison Doctor to German Consul under tel. NR ....We can't contact said hospital.-And I said I want to leave call an ambulance, and they said I have to sign. And I sign. And then came the revelation! They have found out that I was a VIP! And they promised a better room next day, and they even offer us the password of the w-lan, and they have called my insurance (yes they knew the number) and they gave me the phone. The insurance then said to me:Stay put, there will be an airplane at the airport for you tomorrow (airplane will be available in two weeks, she said).
Next day they gave me a much better room, send even flowers and I have had a second MRT: When I asked why, they said, first was inconclusive. And then I said:same equipment, same operator where is the difference? And they didn't know (equipment are up today, she said). Same evening I flew home. And the Doctors here have sad that it was forbidden to eat or drink before I learn again to swallow (Egyptians Doctors are top she said). I understand very well why the hotel's Doctor have sent me to ''Nile hospital''.The question is : the hotels management and the big agencies (sonnenklar.tv, bigXtra, efi, etc)have any idea what is happening to their sick guests, how they are victimized and treated more like banknotes than human beings, or they are part of the plot?
