Hitlers Sozialismus, Dr. Helmut Klotz
This is a very nice original example of Hitlers Sozialismus (Hitler’s Socialism) by Oberleutnant zur See a.D. Dr. Helmut Klotz. Publicist and author Klotz was a World War I German Navy Officer and early member of the Nazi Party and SA. He participated in the November 1923 Nazi Putsch but left Germany after the Nazis were elected to power.

1930 elections in Germany
SPD vs NSDAP
There are quotes by Hitler and Alfred Rosenberg from the Nazi newspaper Der Völkischer Beobachter, Hitler’s views on nationalizing German industry, information about NSDAP finances and street protests in Berlin agitated by Joseph Goebbels, and more.

Inside the back cover author Dr. Helmut Klotz quotes results from the a parliamentary meeting and vote that took place on 9 December 1930. It is obvious that he clearly favored the Social Democrat Party (SPD) instead of the Nazi Party.

Hitlers Sozialismus was published by Trommler Verlag of Berlin. It is undated but clearly it dates to late December 1930 or early 1931. The book is complete and in very nice condition with two hard-to-find Jugend Reichsbanner stamps from Berlin-Brandenburg on the cover.

In 1940, after German victory in France, author Helmut Klotz was arrested in Paris. He was taken to Sachsenhausen concentration camp and on 27 November 1942 the People’s Court in Berlin sentenced him to death. Klotz was executed at Berlin-Plötzensee prison on 3 February 1943.
This 5-3/4 x 8-3/8 inch, 16-page softcover propaganda publication from late 1930 or early 1931 was written after the parliamentary elections of 14 September 1930. Adolf Hitler received 6.5 million votes from people who “followed Hitler’s flags”, and felt he would be able to achieve Socialist goals for the masses.
the NSDAP of today
Hitlers Sozialismus has chapters about the changes necessary in the German government and finance business to make National Socialist ideas a reality. There are outspoken chapters against the Treaty of Versailles and Marxism, as well as doubts by Dr. Helmut Klotz that Adolf Hitler and his men (Hitlermänner) would succeed.
