Total flop - unfortunately, is bone hard and thin, even after hours of soaking not a bit of volume, it then looks unsightly and wavy when dried again. No high-quality soap feels comfortable on it and you don't like to touch it. I then cut my sea cucumber from Greece into 2 cm thick slices and lo and behold, it's a nice looking alternative and softens nicely with water, you can do something with it!
Totaler Flopp - leider, ist knochenhart und dünn, auch nach stundenlangen Einweichen nicht ein bisschen Volumen, es sieht dann wieder getrocknet unschön und wellig aus. Keine hochwertige Seife fühlt sich hierauf wohl und man mag es nicht anfassen. Ich habe dann meine Seegurke aus Griechenland in 2 cm dicke Scheiben geschnitten und siehe da, eine schön anzusehende Alternative und wird mit Wasser schön weich, damit kann man was anfangen!

I ordered the cushion even though I had read on the internet that mould can form. Unfortunately, this also happened to my pillow after about 3 months of use, so I had to dispose of it. Not very sustainable...
Ich habe das Kissen bestellt, obwohl ich im Internet gelesen hatte, dass es zu Schimmelbildung kommen kann. Leider passierte das bei meinem Kissen auch nach ca. 3 Monaten Einsatz, sodass ich es entsorgen musste. Nicht so wahnsinnig nachhaltig...

Unfortunately, it did not work for me as stated in the description: As long as the soap bar was still new, it worked, at the end both soap and the sponge were only damp.
Funktioniert bei mir leider nicht, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben: Solange das Seifenstück noch neu war, ging es, zum Schluss waren sowohl Seife als auch der Schwamm nur noch feucht.

What a great invention! I consciously avoid shower gel in plastic bottles. Instead, I use bar soap made from vegetable oil. Until now, I always kept my soap in a clay dish that I had to clean of soap residues at least once a week... With the Luffa soap cushion, I no longer have this problem.
Was für eine tolle Erfindung! Ich verzichte bewusst auf Duschgel in Plastikflaschen. Stattdessen nehme ich Stückseife aus Pflanzenöl. Bisher hatte ich meine Seife immer in einem Tonschälchen, dass ich min. 1 x die Woche von Seifenresten säubern musste... mit dem Luffa Seifenkissen hab ich dieses Problem nicht mehr.

I can only agree with Denise T's review. I use the soap cushion in exactly the same way. I can add that it is wonderful for getting mineral sunscreen, such as that from Weleda or Eco Cosmetics, off the body again, which is quite annoying without the soap cushion, especially with body hair or beard.
Kann mich der Rezession von Denise T. nur anschließen. Ich nutze das Seifenkissen genau so. Hinzufügen kann ich noch, dass es sich wunderbar eignet um mineralische Sonnencreme, wie die von Weleda oder Eco Cosmetics, wieder vom Körper zu bekommen, was ohne das Seifenkissen ziemlich lästig ist, vorallem bei Körperbehaarung oder Bart.

Even though it is called a soap pad, I also like to use it as an exfoliating sponge in the shower. If you are careful with it, it removes the skin flakes wonderfully! When used as a soap cushion, it still lies on a grooved wooden base, as it does not completely absorb the water due to the material. The fact that the used soap dries on the cushion and therefore sometimes little fluff sticks to the soap doesn't bother me personally. They wash off again the next time they are used, and pieces of soap somehow melt into any kind of surface. The cushion also dries well after a while. I have used 2 of them for a very long time and would order them again if they wore out at some point. But so far I haven't noticed that, they seem to be indestructible ;-)
Auch wenn es als Seifenkissen bezeichnet wird, verwende ich es zusätzlich gerne als Peelingschwamm unter der Dusche. Wenn man vorsichtig damit umgeht, entfernt es die Hautschüppchen ganz wunderbar! Als Seifenkissen genutzt, liegt es bei mir trotzdem noch auf einer geriffelten Unterlage aus Holz, da es das Wasser materialbedingt nicht komplett aufsaugt. Das die benutzte Seife am Kissen antrocknet und deshalb manchmal kleine Fusseln an der Seife kleben, stört mich persönlich nicht. Sie waschen sich beim nächsten Gebrauch ja wieder runter und Seifenstücke verschmelzen irgendwie ja mit jeder Art von Unterlage. Das Kissen trocknet nach einiger Zeit auch gut durch. Ich habe 2 Stück bereits sehr lange im Gebrauch und würde sie auch wieder bestellen, falls sie sich irgendwann mal abgenutzt haben. Bisher konnte ich das aber noch nicht feststellen, sie scheinen unkaputtbar zu sein ;-)

Unfortunately, mould formed on me within a very short time, so I threw the cushion away.
Leider hat sich bei mir innerhalb kürzester Zeit Schimmel gebildet, daher hab ich das Kissen weggeschmissen.
