A traditional stone-built cottage adjoining the croft-house with stunning sea views of Culkein Bay and Handa Island. Situated on a working croft, it is just a stone’s throw away from Culkein beach.

Open plan living space with full self-catering facilities, kitchen, bathroom with shower, electric heating and a wood burning stove. Suitable for couples or solo travellers, it has a double bed mezzanine sleeping arrangement which is accessible by a ladder (there is also a pull-out sofa bed in the open plan area if required).

A little slice of peace

For our trip, we were really into off the beatten path. This place is in the best way. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach and the sheep baaing in the fields. We took a couple of hikes and just rested from the rest of our hectic trip. It was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations and for helping us find the highland cows!

Such a lovel, cozy place and such a wonderful use of space! Caroline and David are a joy. And the location is outstanding. Perfect for an easy quiet get a way!

Toller Aufenthalt in sehr gepflegter Ferienwohnung

Kleine gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit viel Liebe fürs Detail! Besonders hervorzuheben ist der grandiose Blick aufs Meer von der Schlafnische, aber auch aus dem Erdgeschoss! Abgerundet wird diese sehr positive Erfahrung durch den ausgesprochen freundlichen Umgang mit den Vermietern der Ferienwohnung, die für Rückfragen oder Tipps für Ausflugsziele gerne zur Verfügung standen! Sollten wir nochmal in diese Gegend Schottlands reisen, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Everything about the place is superb. Fantastic place with everything you need. Lovely little touches throughout the property. The views are to die for as well. I cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay.

"living on the edge"

Caroline and David are fantastic hosts. I can recommend a stay 100% and would choose this apartment again at any time. The furnishings are top quality. The apartment is furnished with love for detail and even though the space is small, everything and more is available.
