One night at the mountain chalet Dolomitenhütte
The Dolomitenhütte is a mountain chalet located in the Lienzer Dolomiten, East Tyrol, the venue of the Austrian Worldloppet race, the Dolomitenlauf.
The glass rooms of Dolomitenhütte are built right on the edge of a hundreds of meters high mountain wall. Gunnar knew, this is the perfect location, to recover from the Dolomitenlauf 🇦🇹 and prepare for the Marcialonga 🇮🇹 one week later.
👨👩👧 Together with his family he has stayed one night in the “Adlerhorst”, which is the most extraordinary room at the Dolomitenhütte. In the evening they enjoyed a fast and furious night sledding ride on the 10 km long sledding trail down from the hut to the valley.
❄️ As season opening Gunnar has chosen the new race format offered by the Dolomitenlauf: The 5 km Easyrace. Perfect to start into another long season of long distance skiing.
